Cagliari v Inter Milan
Totally matchup-related. Pio Esposito is an absolute gem — one of the few true hold-up strikers left in the world. He's Inter through and through, fits the DNA, and has a future leading Italy's national-team revitalisation from the centre-forward spot. He's great in the air too, and has already scored and assisted to start the season. Because of his hold-up play he gets fouled a LOT, and the books know it.
But since the books already price people out of his "fouls won" line, we need to look deeper — WHO will be fouling him? Who's tasked to mark him as Esposito drops in and earns free-kicks with his Inter teammates playing off him?
Esposito has a huge physical advantage over the Cagliari centre-backs, which could lead to absolute dominance in the air and in hold-up play. But Cagliari will almost certainly use 21-year-old Uruguayan centre-back Juan Rodriguez to man-mark him, especially in central zones — he's their best defender physically, in the air, and probably overall. That's a major struggle for Rodriguez, and even if he plays well he'll need some dark arts to stop Pio bullying him. Esposito should dominate in every way tonight:
🇮🇹 Esposito 2+ SOT @ 10/11 (Bet365) — 2u
🇮🇹 Esposito Anytime Goal @ 6/5 (Bet365) — 1u
🇺🇾 Rodriguez 2+ Fouls Committed @ 12/5 (Bet365) — 0.5u
🇺🇾 Rodriguez Booked @ 11/4 (Bet365) — 0.5u
Feyenoord v ADO Den Haag
This should be an utter annihilation. Feyenoord have gotten better since last season, kept their main players, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst has improved as a manager — hopefully a fun Eredivisie season with a high competition level, and Feyenoord firmly in the title race.
ADO are a relegation contender who can't stop conceding — 9 in 3 so far. This is a big step up in talent from what they've faced lately, and playing away is a daunting task. Feyenoord have started their strongest team and could bang in 5 or 6 like they did against Cambuur last week. Ueda is an absolute goalscorer, and against ADO he'll be licking his lips:
🇯🇵 Ueda Anytime Goal @ 8/13 (Bet365) — 2.5u
🇯🇵 Ueda 2+ Goals @ 3/1 (Bet365) — 0.5u
🇲🇱 Diarra Assist @ 3/1 (Bet365) — 0.5u

Leeds v Brentford
Cracking game — even with the big dogs playing good sides, this lines up as the best of Matchday 2 in the Premier League. Brentford have started on fire, one of the most in-form teams in Europe with one of the best young managers at the helm. Their summer business has been sharp, and they've built a side that will solidly challenge for Europe.
Underrated by books, teams, and fans is Kevin Schade. Quick as lightning, good in front of goal, and makes smart choices. He starts and will cause problems today — 2 SOT in the last Prem match and a goal off the bench in the cup against Birmingham. This line will not look like this all season:
🇩🇪 Schade 1+ SOT @ 5/6 (Bet365) — 1.5u

Manchester United v Ipswich
This is going to be more complicated than people think. United's defence will be a problem all year — they still haven't addressed it in the window. Julio Enciso was on fire for Ipswich last week; expect him to want to show off, carry his team up the pitch, earn momentum, and be a thorn in United's side. Enciso draws lots of fouls, United's midfield is slow, and he'll have their number in 1v1s (even with Baleba helping). He'll also feel free to run at the full-backs, who he fancies beating too:
🇵🇾 Enciso 2+ Fouls Won @ 5/6 (Bet365) — 1u
